The 'Blob' in the centre of Eindhoven

The centre of the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, called 18 Septemberplein had quite an ‘industrial’ feel about it. This was changed when Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas created the 'Blob', an organic glass and concrete building that serves as the entrance to The Admirant, a major commercial centre. The futuristic looking structure compliments the former Philips factory on the right of my picture.Blob.jpg
